Visualize the food words tweeted in each state. The terms labeling each state when TF-IDF is selected represent not the most popular food-related word tweeted in the state, but the most distinctive word for that state; for more information, see TF-IDF

Terms can be seen for individual months as well as terms aggregated across all months. Select either the monthly or aggregated choice from the "Dataset" drop down menu. If monthly was chosen, select the desired month. The popular terms will show up inside their respective states.

Use the mouse to pan and zoom the map.

The tweets used to obtain these lists are those which can be determined to be inside a particular state in the U.S. (about 10% of all tweets collected). See the full paper for details.
